I tested the Humixx Clear case for the S22 Ultra so, I’m glad that I was able to work with Humixx to sponsor this video on the S23 Ultra. The Ultra Clear case from Humixx is indeed, ultra clear. The kit includes a sleek but protective backing made from silicone that has been engineered to absorb energy from drops and to retain the like new clear color over time. As for screen protection, the Humixx case features raised bezels at the top and the bottom of the S23 Ultra which means even if the phone falls out of your hand or pocket, when it hits the ground, one of the protected corners or the raised bezels will prevent the screen from impacting flat surfaces. The top and bottom are raised up by 1.2mm following feedback that Humixx got from previous cases. The screen protector itself provides your everyday scratch protection from things like keys or other items in your pocket or purse from scratching up your beautiful new S23! The corner protection on the Humixx Ultra Clear seems quite good. You have a decent amount of the SGS certified Silicone material to absorb drops, in fact Humixx rates the case drop height at 10 feet. The installation was relatively easy. One word of caution though, you must make the screen surface of your phone absolutely clean, totally spotless. It’s crucial to the screen protector application process. Use the included dry wipes and or the wet wipes if you need to. I would start with applying the screen protector first then installing the case. The included screen protectors are inside of these two larger pieces. Step one, plug in the bottom alignment piece. Step two, align the screen protector at the bottom. Step three, peel back the number 1 tab on the screen protector to stick the middle of the screen protector down. Step four, peel back tab 2 to stick down the top portion of the screen protector. You’ll want to be using the included tool to push out air bubbles. And the last step is to peel back the bottom portion and apply that section of the screen protector to the phone. Like I mentioned earlier, it’s super important to clean the phone really well before you start the process. Make sure to push out any and all air bubbles with the scraping tool that’s included.
