Today we are taking a look at the Slimcase for the Samsung S22 courtesy of Slimcase. Slimcase makes some crazy thin cases for Smartphones and this case is no different. This case is transparent and somehow only 0.015 inches thick or 0.38mm thick. For a Smartphone case, this is almost unbelievably thin. Not everyone wants to double the weight of their smartphone or add a ton of bulk. Slimcase says this case is made out of their Armor plastic material. This is based on a polypropylene material and they say that is just the right level of durability shock absorption coupled with the promise of not yellowing overtime like some TPU type of cases can. Slimcase is just that, slim cases. They aren’t including a screen protector here. If you don’t like or want a screen protector, then you don’t need one. In my opinion, this case coupled with a decent tempered glass screen protector would be an awesome combination. The Slimcases do have a small lip on the backside for protecting the camera lenses when you set the phones down, it’s nice and compact. The corners of the case do seem to be a little bit stronger than the sides which is nice. There’s no issues with wireless charging on these since they are so thin and they will easily support MagSafe or magnetic devices. As I mentioned before, this is an ultra thin and lightweight case. If you’re into that, this is definitely something you should check out. If I went with one of these, I would pair it with a tempered glass screen protector, I think that combo would be awesome.
