Today we’re taking a look at the Tieszen full body rugged case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Tieszen reached out to me offering to sponsor this video and after looking at the case product offering I agreed. I have the Deep Blue color for this case but this case actually comes in a bunch of different colors. I think it goes well with the Blue Titanium look on the 15 pro max. We’re getting the case itself, some cleaning materials, wet, dry cloth and dust stickers. Looks like there’s a thank you for purchasing a letter and some stickers included? That’s kind of cool. This case features the battle tested interlocking dual layer design for case protection. I tend to favor these types of cases when they form a strong interlocking connection because I feel that they will hold up better in most drop scenarios versus cases that are 1 single main case body wrapping around the phone versus enclosing the phone. In addition to this, the case features a bezel that extends around the entire perimeter of the phone raising the phone up by about 2mm from a flat surface. I really like this feature because this will help reduce or avoid damage when you drop your phone on say a tile floor in a kitchen or maybe off of your desk at work. The case’s frame ends up taking the brunt of the force which I think is ideal for redistributing that better versus some portion of your screen taking the impact. I also really like that the front frame of this case actually features a 9H tempered glass screen protector. That is a pretty solid screen protector in my opinion, this will definitely protect your Pro Max very well as this is decently thick and strong. I didn’t have any issues with swiping in any direction or moving quickly on screen so this is a major plus in my opinion. Another neat thing about this case is the backside, its tempered glass too! You get the benefit of a decently strong backside and you can still see the color of your iPhone and the apple logo. I usually tend to go for bulkier types of cases but I like that Tieszen was able to set up the front and back covers with a strong solution that allowed me to see the actual phone. This case obviously has a camera cutout region, this region creates about 1mm worth of distance between the lenses and a flat surface. This is decent but Tieszen also includes a camera lens protector which I like. This lens protector was easy to apply, just needed to line it up and press down. I did clean the lenses before though and I would recommend you do too. This case doesn’t add much bulk to the iPhone 15 at all, it still feels relatively light and the profile is good, this case is not bulky at all. The back cover has that soft touch feel which I like in my cases, no real issue with handling the phone in this case. Wifi Charging worked right away which I like to see. This case also features a USB-C flap cover for added port protection, I really like that on my cases, I think it helps a lot. The Mic and Speaker seemed fine to me too. Overall, I would say that if this case fits your style, I like it on protection factor, it looks good, and I think it’s an overall competitive option especially if you prefer your cases to be protective but slimmer. I would definitely check this out for your iPhone 15 Pro Max.
