Today we’re taking a look at an interesting Tiezen case for the iPhone 15. Tieszen offered to sponsor this video and after checking out what was included, I was very interested. This is the Sky blue basic case from Tieszen, it’s a dual layer interlocking case type which I’m a fan of. The case features two different front frame options both with included 9h rated tempered glass screen protectors which are built in. The standard front frame option is a normal clear screen protector, and we optionally have a privacy filter version of this as well. That’s kind of neat – especially if you know you normally need screen privacy, or you occasionally might want to accomplish screen privacy without constantly adjusting brightness and moving your phone awkwardly out of sight from someone sitting or standing near you. Getting right into the case protection, both front frame options interlock with the main case body here, they form a solid seal which is good, should help keep out rain drops and small splashes. Both front frame options create a bezel that extends around the screen side of the iPhone 15. This is an important screen feature because this bezel actually lifts the screen up off of a flat surface for example. This means that if you drop your iPhone 15 on the floor in the kitchen or at the office, or even outside on a relatively flat surface, the bezel and the TPU material that it interlocks with will end up taking the brunt of the impact forces and redistributing that which should help protect your screen in many scenarios. I always look for this type of bezel on the cases I use for my smartphone. We have some cleaning material included here which I like to see. There’s a wet and dry wipe as well as some dust stickers to make sure you do the cleaning prep work before installation, it matters. In terms of the screen protectors, they are pretty solid, and I think they will hold up well against anything that might normally scratch your iPhone so I’m happy with the protection factor here. We have a decent amount of material on the sides, top, and bottom of the case which I like to see, and the back side is relatively thick and sturdy as well. This case is nice in that you can retain whatever color iPhone you bought because you can still see it. I like the positioning of the magsafe compatible magnet, it looks good on the case, and it works well. As for camera protection, we do have a built-up camera cutout region here which will create some space in between the camera lenses and a flat surface similar to the front side bezel. Tieszen also includes two camera protectors and an added protection factor. The case feel is nice for this one, the TPU bits are very soft which I like, and the dry grip was decent. The installation was very easy, and I definitely liked that Tieszen has some mesh protection material at the bottom of the case in addition to a charging port flap cover. These are nice additions to help keep the areas clean and free of dust and debris. This case is on the lighter side in terms of bulk, but I like the stronger screen protector and the frames seem decent. A slimmer profile with attention to detail can go a long way for a good smartphone case experience. I think this case is definitely packing some value here and if you’re looking for an iPhone 15 case whether it’s for your new iPhone or you’re replacing an older case, I think you should consider the basic series from Tieszen’s line up. This case also comes in black, mint green, and coral pink by the way.
