Today we’re taking a look at the Gonez Slim Liquid case for the iPhone 15 Plus. Gonez offered to sponsor this video and after taking a look at what the case had to offer, I happily agreed. The Slim Liquid case is really a bit of a bundle here, we’re getting the main rear case body as well as not 1 but 2 included screen protectors, wet and dry wipes as well as dust stickers for prep and on top of that, two camera lens protectors. That’s quite a bit of value at an aggressively competitive position in the iPhone 15 plus case market. Oh, and the case is magsafe compatible too, can’t forget that. Let’s take a look at prepping and installing the case and screen protector. I noticed that the main case body is a very smooth and soft feeling TPU material which is nice. The front side of the case crucially does offer a small bezel for added screen protection. This bezel or lip is about 1.19mm tall which means the iPhone screen won’t touch a flat source when it’s dropped on one. This is helpful for kitchen and office drops. To really level up that screen protection though, Gonez includes two 9H rated tempered glass screen protectors. These screen protectors are decently thick, and I think they’re going to stand up well against items that will normally come into contact with your iPhone screen. We’re getting nearly complete coverage, and the application was relatively easy, just use the top indent to line up the glass. Make sure to use those included prep materials though, it’s super important to make sure the screen protector application looks nice. With the screen protector installed, I think between that and the main case body, we have a decent level of screen and phone protection here at a very slim profile. If you prefer the slimmer experience for your smartphone but don’t want to give up case protection, this is certainly an interesting option you should consider. As for the main case body, its composed of a softer outer layer, a rigid and strong layer, and a felt-like layer on the inside to gently hold the iPhone body. The case is also magsafe compatible, I find myself using magnetic rings and car mounts frequently, so this is nice to have for sure. The case also allows for wireless charging as well so that’s awesome. As for the cameras and the camera lenses, the case does form a camera cutout region and it is built up a bit to form a 2mm bezel to create space between the camera lenses and a flat surface. Again, this is important for helping to protect the cameras and lenses from flat surface drops. Gonez is including two camera lens protectors on top of that though, you can optionally install these for even more coverage. I like that the Slim Liquid case here from Gonez is able to offer protection and magsafe compatibility while retaining a very slim profile leading to a lighter iPhone experience. I tend to personally skew towards bigger and bulkier cases, but I know not everyone wants to carry around a brick in their pocket. I think this case really hits the mark there for people wanting good protection, but they don’t need or want to substantially increase the weight or volume of their iPhone. Like I said earlier, I think this case bundle is positioned to be a seriously competitive option in the iPhone 15 Plus case market and I will recommend it if it fits your style and needs.
