Today we’re taking a look at the Diamond Shield tempered glass screen protector for the S24 Ultra courtesy of Torras. This is a kit consisting of two 9H rated tempered glass screen protectors as well as cleaning supplies for your shiny new or pre-loved depending on when you watch this, Galaxy S24 Ultra. This is a relatively thick layer of tempered glass meant to take the brunt of any screen impacts for s24 ultra. Torras states that this screen protector actually exceeds the 9H rating, which is interesting, it does look fairly heavy duty after having it installed though. The screen protector is designed to be compatible with fingerprint unlock and Torras touts that it is fingerprint resistant. With dry hands I didn’t have too much of an issue. The installation for this tempered glass screen protector is honestly one of the easiest that I have seen so far. Torras includes the cleaning and prep materials so you will want to make sure to clean off your screen really well before beginning. The first screen protector is contained within the application tool. All I had to do was line up the application tool on top of my S24 Ultra, press down, let it rest for about 10 seconds, then pull out the pull tab at the bottom of the tool and then finally separate the tool from the phone. The screen protector will probably have a bubble or two, so you’ll want to take the scraping tool that’s included and just push out those air bubbles. That way you will have a flawless application of the screen protector. I paired the Torras screen protector with basic case also from Torras and I think it’s a solid combo if you’re looking to maximize overall protection for your S24 Ultra but you want the profile and feel of the phone to be as slim and sleek as possible.
