Today we are back at it taking a look at the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro case for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I’ve been saying it for a while now, I’m a fan of the Supcase UB Pro cases, I bought some before I started reviewing cases and I’ve kept on using them for various phones. The Supcase UB Pro cases are known for ultra smartphone protection, incredible durability, nice designs, and importantly, being priced very competitively in the market. For the UB pro here we have a two-piece case model with two frame options. You can opt for an open front frame if you would prefer no screen protector or to use your own but, Supcase also includes a front frame with a built-in screen protector which I’m most interested in, and I think definitely increases the overall value of this case. Both frame options get installed essentially the same way, the front frame snaps onto the front side of the S24 Ultra. This piece is used to interlock the main case body to hold it in place. When the top frame is locked into the main case body like this, it forms an extremely strong connection that will definitely hold up in drop scenarios. Whether or not you choose the screen protector or open frame, both frames will provide screen protection in flat surface drop scenarios. The frame extends 2 or maybe even 3 millimeters past the height of the screen. This means that if you drop the phone on the kitchen floor, the basement floor, or at the office, the case will make contact with the impact surface first which should help absorb and redistribute the impact forces. This will greatly reduce your risk of damaging your shiny S24 Ultra. As I said, I’m a fan of the screen protector frame, I think having a perfect fit and easy to install screen protector being part of the package is awesome. It’s a good thickness and features a specially designed fingerprint area to help ensure your fingerprint still works.
