Today we’re taking a look at the i-Blason Armorbox case for the Samsung Galaxy S25 plus. Thanks to i-Blason for sending this case over for us to take a look at. The Armorbox cases are known for being the beefier, tougher, and more durable cases in the i-Blason lineup. This case consists of two interlocking layers, a main rear case body and a front frame with a built in screen protector. The front frame gets installed directly on the S25 plus and then clips into place inside of the main rear casebody. The connection formed is strong and the softer TPU on the outside of the TPE framing compliment each other for a solid strategy to absorb and redistribute impact forces from drop events which should help keep your S25 plus safe even when it goes flying out of your hands. Part of the secret sauce for case protection is the bezel on the screen side of the phone. This bezel extends about 2mm past the height of the glass on the S25 plus. This means that when you drop your S25 plus on a flat surface like a tile flooring, concrete sidewalks, or asphalt, the case makes that initial impact directly and the glass never actually meets the impact surface. Combining this with the built in screen protector and these huge corner bumpers is really going to minimize any chances of your phone being damaged in drops. The corners have a ton of extra TPU material here and were relatively strong when I was pressing on them to gauge how much they might compress or how malleable they were. As for the main rear case body, this is a thicker TPE material with the TPU bumper all along the perimeter. This type of case is generally excellent for providing case struction but still offering cushioning for the phone. The inside of the bumper where the case meets the phone is also softer TPU and not the harder TPE material. The backside has some raised and indented sections to help with backside grip. The sides of this case also have traction slats which I really like, grip is an under rated feature of smartphone cases in my opinion and this definitely has some grip. The Armorbox case is offering MagSafe support which is good, I like using those magnetic rings and the magnetic car mounts for navigation. This case features a USB-C flap cover which is good, that will help prevent dust and moisture from getting at your USB-C port. As for the camera protection strategy, we do have a cutout section with a bezel but we also have a beefy camera door. This is typically what I would consider maximum protection for your cameras and lenses since they can’t make constant in any flat surface drop scenario and with the door closed, it seems relatively strong and it locks in place when shut. The door can actually double as a kickstand for watching videos which is a nice add-on type feature. This case is a bit thicker so it’s possible it might not allow for wireless charging on all QI chargers, you’ll have to examine the klayout of your charger and know its relative power output. The version of the Armorbox that I have here is black but it also comes in red, blue, and green. Overall, I would say this is some excellent protection for your S25 plus smartphone. It is not the slimmest setup out there but if you know you need some solid protection, this is definitely a case to keep in mind. It’s competitively positioned in the S25 plus case market as well. I’m a fan of the way the Armoxbox cases look, they are tanky. Until Next time time, stay charged up.
