Today were taking a look at the Spidercase case for the Galaxy Fold 7. The Spidercase features a decently thick tempered glass screen protector design with a solid rear case body that supports magsafe accessories and has some decent camera protection. The front frame gets attached directly to the Fold 7, it fits on partly by tension but also utilizes these sticky adhesive bits. As for the hinge protection, it’s flat and is spring loaded like most other cases. The Spidercase hinge gives us a kickstand which is kind of neat, it just extends out from the side. Getting back to that front frame though, the glass is decently strong, with a combined raised bezel which should provide some really good protection against keys or other potential items to scratch the screen and the case should protect the phone well in flat surface drop scenarios. The main rear case body is quite thick but still allows for wireless charging. This case material is basically all thermoplastic polyurethane, its strong and soft touch but not super hard plastic. This case should make a pretty good connection with the Fold 7 assuming you use those little adhesive strips. As for the camera protection, we do have a standard camera cutout region with a classic built up bezel to put a mil or two between those camera lenses and any flat surface the Fold 7 might crash into. That should be plenty of camera protection for most people. The button cutouts on the side seem larger or extended vs other cases, the cutouts along the bottom of the case are decent. This case does support wireless charging and magsafe magnets, I tested my anker mag ring and it seems good. Overall, you’re getting some good protection, features and functionality and to top that off, this is one of the more fairly priced Galaxy Fold 7 cases especially considering the tempered glass screen protector. I’d definitely recommend taking a look at the SpiderCase if you want all of that without the bulk some other cases come with. Until next time, stay charged up!
