Today we’re taking a look at the Dual layer Heavy duty FNTCase for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. This is really a bit of a kit for your s25 Plus since you are getting the dual layer case with a softer TPU layer on the inside, the harder TPE shell on the outside, cleaning and prep materials and a tempered glass screen protector. As for the protection characteristics, the inner TPU layer provides a very soft mechanism to help absorb fall damage. The TPU covers essentially the entire backside, top, bottom, sides and it creates a small bezel that extends up past the height of the screen. Good protection all around including the corners here from the looks of it, I’ll smash the phone into my desk a little later on. In order to give the assembled case more structure and toughness, the outer TPE shell clips on to the TPU layer very tightly to lock it in place. This layer not only provides some solid protection given the thickness and rigidness but it also gives us quite a bit of textured surface area for increased grip. The sides of the shell also have grippy areas, this is important because grip is essentially a protection function which helps prevent you from dropping your phone or dropping as much. That bezel that I mentioned is also incredibly important for flat surface drop scenarios. You don’t want glass meeting hard tile flooring, concrete sidewalks, or asphalt streets, it’s not going to end well. The bezel is essentially a little bit of extra material that is present all along the perimeter of the case that ensures when your phone falls on a flat surface, no matter which angle, the glass never touches. The case will always be there to make that initial impact to redistribute and absorb the impact forces. FNTCase goes a step further here by including a tempered glass screen protector. This screen protector is optional but I would highly recommend it. It’s a decent thickness and it should hold up against all of the common stuff that comes into contact with the screen on smartphones, keys, change, counter stuffs. Make sure to use those includes cleaning and prep materials, the wet wipe, dry wipes, and dust stickers in that order. Clean screens lead to better screen protector applications. You can place the screen protector on the phone without the case installed but I prefer to do it afterwards. I had to line up the notch for the camera and when that was aligned I just double checked the bottom alignment. This type of screen protector will have some air bubbles when it is placed on the screen, you’ll want to just push those out to get a solid application of the screen protector. FNTCase doesn’t say anything about wireless charging but I think if you have a decent charger that is layflat, you have a good chance of it working. IF you have a non flat or really weak or old qi charger, it’s probably time to replace it. The USB-C port cutout has a decent opening, there is no flap cover for dust or debris protection on this case though. This case also does not support MagSafe accessories but if you really wanted to, you can buy one of those sticker magnets and place it inside of the case, that might work. I have the black version here but this case comes in a ton of colors, there’s definitely one for you available. FNTCase didn’t send this over to me, I bought this case for the review so, if you like it and want to pick one up for yourself, I’ll leave an affiliate link below.
