Today we’re taking a look at the i_blason ArmorBox case for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Thanks to i-Blason for sending this case over for us to take a look at. I’ve evaluated many ArmorBox cases in the past, this case is for people who want to take their S25 Ultra and go from cloth armor to being a prot tank. This is a beefy, strong, and very functional case for people who are serious about not damaging their S25 Ultra’s. The ArmorBox case features 2 interlocking layers made from TPU and TPE materials. The screen side layer is basically a frame with a built in screen protector that gets installed first, then you place the assembled front half into the main rear case body. The installation isn’t too hard but I often see people struggling with it when this is the first case they buy designed like this. You just have to peel off the bottom right side or left if the case is upside down and then make sure you install bottom to top. As for the protection factors, as I mentioned, the front frame has that built-in screen protector. It’s a good thickness in my opinion to deal with common things that will come into contact with your screen, keys, change, random stuff on a desk, things like that. The case also protects the screen in that it forms a bezel that extends up past the height of the glass on the S25 Ultra. This is super important for keeping the screen safe because it means that in flat surface drop scenarios, the cases bezel makes that initial impact with the ground. You do not want your S25’s glass meeting a tile floor, concrete sidewalks, or asphalt streets, it’s not going to end well. The harder frame supported by the softer TPU material that locks it into place is going to absorb and redistribute some of those impact forces which should help give you the best chance of not wrecking your glass the next time your phone goes sailing through the air towards the darkness. As for the main rear case body, this is bulky and beefy, just the way I like it. We have plenty of TPU material here in order to cradle your S25 Ultra and keep it safe. The structure is good, some rigidity while retaining some bounciness, that’s what I like to see. The entire bumper of the case, the outer perimeter material, it’s all reinforced well and it resisted when I pushed and pulled on it trying to keep its form. The corners are also massively reinforced with extra material, that’s definitely what you want in a protective case. It’s worth mentioning too that the side of the case has these really grippy sections, that’s a quality of life feature but it’s also a case protection feature, dropping your phone less will be better for your phone’s overall lifespan. The back surface is a little smooth, I’d like to see some more textured areas towards the bottom next time. This case supports MagSafe accessories, things like the magnetic rings and the car mounts for navigation are quite useful. Moving on to the camera protection strategy, we have a strong locking door here in addition to some built up bezel surface for protecting those cameras and lenses. The door has a nice heavy feeling to it, the inside of the door has a really nice felt type material too. It’s resistant enough to movement that you could use the door as a kickstand which is both good for resisting movement when you drop your phone and for watching videos while you cook dinner in the kitchen for example. Even if the door is open when you drop your phone, there’s still a buffer zone between the lenses and flat surfaces which is good to see. As for wireless charging with this case installed, I was able to get it to charge on my layflat standing wireless qi charger but since the case is quite thick, you’re going to make sure when you rest the phone on your wireless charger that you positioned it correctly and it’s actually charging. In looking at the USB-C port, we have a durable flap cover here to help keep out dust, debris, and excessive moisture. This will help keep that port working correctly throughout the lifetime of the phone. The flap is a little tough to move at first but then again you don’t want this to be too loose. The S-pen bay is a good size, no issues removing that and reinserting. Overall, I’m a huge fan of the Armorbox case for the Galaxy S25 Ultra if you couldn’t tell. This is one of the top tier choices for protection for this phone and I think the features and functionality make it just that much better. I have the black version of the case here today but you can grab this in blue, green, and red which might be my favorite color for these. I’ll leave an affiliate link below if you want to pick one of these up. Until next time, stay charged up!
