Today we’re taking a look at the Poetic Guardian case for the Samsung A15. Thanks to Poetic for sending this case over for us to take a look at today. The guardian cases from poetic are known for being transparent interlocking cases providing some excellent overall protection. The Guardian case is coming with two front frame options for your A15, we have an open frame if you prefer not having a screen protector and we have a frame with a built-in screen protector. The built-in screen protector offers a guaranteed fit on the A15 and its actually a decent thickness, should hold up well to everyday life and usage. Whether you go for the open frame of the screen protected frame, you are still getting screen protection for the screen glass in the form of the bezel that is created by the case. When you look at the side of the P9 you can see that the case actually extends up past the glass in the screen. This is important for flat surface drop scenarios. When you inevitably drop your phone on the sidewalk or street, or even in the kitchen, the case will actually make that initial impact and not the glass. The case should act to help absorb and redistribute some of those impact forces which will increase the likelihood that your phone stays safe. I’m a fan of this feature and I look for it in every Smartphone case I use. The frames interlock very tightly as well, this makes for a great combination and a really good value if you were planning on buying a separate screen protector anyways. Poetic built in these ridges on the sides of the phone, this is a handy feature to help increase your grip on the phone in wet and dry scenarios. The back side of the case is obviously transparent, it’s the main draw to buying this case for people who bought colors they liked. The backing material is quite thick and definitely seems like it is built for the long haul. As for the camera protection strategy, we have the tried-and-true camera cutout region with a built-up bezel. This forms around the A15’s camera and flashlight as you can see, I think it’s a solid strategy for protecting those cameras and the lenses. I should mention too that the corners on this case do appear to have a little bit of reinforcement here, there’s some extra material to help with those awkward drops and the case does have a USB-C protection flap and a 3.5mm flap in order to help keep those ports safe and operating normally through the whole life of that phone. This is a solid case overall considering the competitive pricing, good amount of TPU material for protection, and it’s transparent to allow you to see your favorite phone color. Until next time, stay charged up.
