Today we’re taking a look at the Supcase UB Pro case for the Samsung Galaxy S25. Thanks to Supcase for sending this one over for us to take a look at. The Supcase UB Pro cases are known for being some very protective cases for the Smartphones that they support. This is a dual layer interlocking case type, Supcase is providing two front frame options, either an open frame with no screen protector which allows you to look for your own option or just not use a screen protector, and a front frame with a built in screen protector. The built in screen protector is a decent thickness and from past experience, they do tend to hold up well over several years of usage. I’ve tested scratching keys, change, and other random things against the screen protector and it hasn’t failed me yet. There is a built-in thumbprint area which should help with screen unlock accuracy. I noticed this time around it’s a little less pronounced which I think people will appreciate. The screen protector will reflect some light but that is the nature of plastic and most glass screen protectors. No matter which front frame option you choose though, you will be getting some solid screen protection in terms of the large bezel that’s formed on the screen side of this case. The bezel extends about 1-2mm past the height of the glass when the phone is installed, this is crucial for flat surface drop scenarios like tile flooring or concrete sidewalks. You do not want any glass surface of your phone coming into contact with any ground surface, this bezel ensures that the case makes that initial impact. The TPE frame and TPU material supporting the frame will absorb and redistribute those impact forces which should keep your phone safe when it inevitably goes flying. While I was inspecting the case, I pushed on the corners , sides, top, and bottom bumpers; they seem relatively strong but retain a little bit of that bounciness thanks to the TPU. The main rear case body is made of TPE and TPU materials, it’s relatively strong and rigid enough to support the S25. Since this case will increase the profile of the S25 a little bit, it’s nice to see that Supcase added those grippy sections along the sides of the phone and even on the screen button. The backside of the case is relatively smooth with some indentations. This case does feature a kickstand which is nice for watching videos on your S25 on your desk or in the kitchen. As for the camera and lens protection strategy, this case uses a standard camera cutout region. The backside of this case is relatively thick so the camera lenses end up being about 1-2mm set in or lower than the rest of the case. Similarly to the bezel on the front side, this will ensure the cameras and lenses do not make contact in any flat surface drop scenarios. As for charging, Supcase says that this case should be compatible with most MagSafe chargers but the case is on the thicker side for protection so, make sure your QI charger doesn’t have any form factor limitations that impact the ability to wireless charge. The USB-C port is protected by this flap cover. The flap cover is very hearty which is good, this will prevent dust, debris, and moisture from getting inside and corroding or damaging the USB port. As you saw, this case bundle does come with a belt clip that is really handy if you need quick access to your phone while at work for example. It’s quite strong and these hole up well over time. There is no magnet installed in this case, you can always try to add those sticker magnets on the inside to get MagSafe support if you want though. The case that I have here today is the Guldan or green version but you can pick this up in red and black as well with the same frame options. Overall, I would say this is a solid case in terms of protection, function, and value for S25 owners. This case is positioned competitively in the S25 case market and I think it’s going to be a popular option after testing it out. Until next time, stay charged up!
