Today we’re taking a look at the UB Pro Mag case for the iPhone 16 Pro. Thanks to Supcase for sending this case over for the video. The UB Pro Mag case is a super protective case for the iPhone 16 Pro. This case is a dual interlocking later your if case where we are getting a front frame with a built-in screen protector that locks into a strong TPU main rear case body. The screen protector built into the frame is a decent thickness and these screen protectors have held up well for years in my experience. I like that this is included with the UB Pro cases, I think it definitely increases the value of this case bundle. As for the front frame itself, the frame creates a bezel that extends up past the glass of the iPhones screen. This is a super important protection factor, when you drop your phone on concrete or the street or any other hard flat surface, you don’t want the glass to actually make that impact. The vessel on the case comes into okay here because it exists all around the perimeter of the front side of the phone. So, any angle that the phone lands on a flat surface, the vessel if the case makes that initial impact absorbing and redistributing those impact forces which will help protect the glass on the iPhone. The main rear case body is quite strong, there wasn’t much flex when I was testing the case, and the sides and corners also felt relatively strong. The bumper of the case, essentially the outside black parts of the case it’s made it of a nice feeling plastic material. Supcase built in these grippy sections to help with wet and dry grip which I like. I’m looking at the camera protection strategy, we have the classic camera cutout region. The case also forms a bit of a bezel for protecting the cameras and lenses. The outer surface of this section is a few millimeters taller than the height of the camera lens so I’m flat surface drop scenarios, the lenses are not going to contact the ground. The iPhone 16 series of smartphones feature the new camera control button. This case doesn’t add on material in that section, instead it creates a dimple of the bumper to make it easier to quickly know where the button is with your finger or thumb. As for the MagSafe implementation on this case, we have a magnetic ring which doubles as a kickstand. The magnet was decently strong and it’s nice that we still get a built-in kickstand for some Netflix and YouTube sessions. I like that this case also has a date port protection flap. This helps keep the out cleaner and increases the chances of the or continuing to work throughout the life of the phone. It’s awesome that Supcase drop tested this case up to 20ft, that should be plenty of protection for most people. I like that this case comes with the belt clip add-on, these are super handy if you need which access to your phone. I think the UB Pro Mag case bundle really brings a good amount of value and the pricing is very competitive in my opinion. Until next time, stay charged up!
