Today we’re taking a look at the Berfy case for the Galaxy Fold 6. Thanks to Berfy for sponsoring this video and sending this case over for us to take a look at. The Berfy brand of cases is a newer brand to me but in checking this case out, it definitely feels substantial, and it supports MagSafe accessories which is a nice plus in my opinion. The case consists of two elements, the main screen cover and the main rear case body. The screen frame and screen protector seem relatively strong, installation was quite easy for the front side. I used the included cleaning materials to clean off that front screen and then I just lined up the front frame and clicked it into place. As you saw though, make sure you remove that adhesive protection layer on the inner seam. That part is sticky and will help ensure this front frame stays on your Fold 6. In looking at this front frame, I really like that it not only has a decently thick screen protector, but the case forms a good-sized bezel on the front side. There’s about 1-2mm worth of clearance here between the screen protector and the top edge of the case, this is some solid protection for that screen in most drop scenarios. In looking at the back side of the case, we have a beefy main rear case body as well. Right off the bat, I like that the case is transparent, it’s got support for MagSafe accessories, and there’s a bit of a camera bezel for camera protection. The backing material is decently strong which is good. The magnet strength is about average, should be plenty for magnetic rings and desk mounts. The cameras have about a millimeter of clearance in terms of flat surface drop scenarios which is good in my experience. Installing the main rear case body was also relatively easy, just needed to line up the case and the phone and snap into place. The fitment on my model Fold 6 here is quite good for both the front and rear of the case. The hinge protection is also decently large, it actually has space to hold the standard sized S-pen if you use one with your fold 6 which is quite nice. The model that I’m working with today is the black version, but you can also get this case in dark blue, gold, and grey. Overall, I would say this is a well-designed protective type of case for your Galaxy Fold 6 smartphone. I think this case is definitely going to hold up well over time against the typical abuse these fold phones will see, and I do like the inclusion of a MagSafe magnet and the S-Pen holder. This is an especially good deal if you wanted a transparent backing so you could still see your factory color. Until next time, stay charged up!
