Today we’re taking a look at the Spigen Rugged Armor case for the Galaxy S25+. I haven’t taken a look at too many Spigen cases so I bought this one to get a feel for the Rugged version of the case with the S25. The Spigen Rugged case is composed of a flexible material called TPU. The case is a few mil thick all around which is good, this material has that nice slight bounciness to it which really helps with absorbing drop damage. This material allows for some solid case protection while maintaining a slimmer profile and lightweight design overall which is a major plus. Some cases will definitely turn your phone into a tank in order to give protection, this is not one of those. I really like that Spigen raised the top and bottom bezels on the front side of the case in order to give you some screen protection from just the case, even without a screen protector being installed. These bezels make it so when you drop your phone on the sidewalk for example, the TPU material of the case makes that initial impact and not your glass. This design allows for the case to take the brunt of that impact on any flat surface no matter the angle. To build on that protection and enhance the quality of life for this case, Spigen added textured areas on the sides of the phone as well as a textured matted surface on the backside of the case. Adding traction and texture to the case will help increase overall grip which should lead to the phone being dropped less because it’s easier to hold. This design also ensures no fingerprint smudges are left behind, kind of nice. Since the case isn’t overly thick, Spigen says wireless charging should work on more wireless QI chargers. There is no USB-C flap protection cover but the opening was a decent size and should accommodate most cables. The button feel was decent and this case features magsafe accessory support. The magnet had a good amount of strength when I was testing with my Anker mag ring. The cameras are protected by a bezel that the case forms on the backside of the case as well. This will definitely help in preventing flat surface drop damage when it comes to those camera lenses. In my opinion, this is a solid Galaxy S25+ case, its got protection where you need it, its not overly thick, easy to install, and it supports magsafe accessories. It’s definitely price competitive as well for the S25+ case Market. I’ll leave an affiliate link below if you want to purchase one of these cases for your S25+. Until next time, stay charged up.
