Today we’re taking a look at the Supcase UB Pro case for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Thanks to Supcase for sending this one over for the video. The UB Pro series of cases from Supcase are known for being super protective cases at a super friendly price bringing some serious value to your smartphone experience. The UB Pro that I have here today is the clear version but you can pick these up in black, green and my favorite, red. The UB Pro series consists of two interchangeable front frame options as well as the main rear case body. This is a very stout case design, the front frames offer rigidity and the option of no screen protector or a built in screen protector. Combining this with the beefy main rear case body made from TPU, we have a strong case with that grippy feeling softer touch material. There’s more than enough TPU to shield your S25 Ultra in most drops which is awesome. Thanks to the bezel that this case forms, you’re getting some extra screen protection no matter which front frame you go with, screen protector or not. The bezel is taller than the glass height so when you drop your super expensive S25 Ultra on a flat surface like a tile floor, concrete sidewalk, or asphalt street, the case will make that initial impact and not some glass surface. This is super important because you want the case to do its job absorbing and redistributing those impact forces, that should help keep your glass safe in most flat surface drop scenarios. Of course, we are getting a frame with a built in screen protector, this is the frame I prefer. We have some good scratch resistance without moving to a glass solution and it’s a perfect fit and it’s removable so you can actually clean your phone. The fingerprint unlock accuracy was good and the S-pen was able to glide over the screen protector decently. The TPU bumper that wraps around the frame option you choose is nice and grippy thanks to the textured traction strips along the sides but grip is also enhanced just by this type of TPU material, it grips easily with skin. As for the main rear casebody, it’s quite solid, especially with the frame installed. Very little flex width or lengthwise and with a few mm of TPU, that’s going to take you from cloth dps to melee tank. I’ve used this type of UB Pro case before on my other Samsungs and some Pixels, these cases can really stand up to a lot of abuse from drops, scratches, and the occasional flight plummeting towards the ground. I like that we have some solid corner protection here too, oversized corners along with the grippy section going all the way up the side opposite the buttons. We’re getting a kickstand with this case, in my opinion this is a must have for watching videos at your desk or in the kitchen. We also have this really good sized USB-C protection flap, this will keep out dust and debris and help ensure your USB-C port continues to operate normally throughout the life of the phone. As for the camera protection strategy, we have the classic camera cutout region with a built up bezel. Like the front side of the case, this bezel lifts those cameras and lenses up off of any flat surface your phone might fall on to. As for the button clicks, they felt clicky enough for me to register the presses so that’s good and the S-pen bay cutout was a good overall size. No issues with removing or re-inserting the S-pen. This is one of my favorite types of case protection for my phones, the UB Pro for the Galaxy S25 Ultra lived up to the legend. RThe only real negative is the lack of magsafe compatibility here but you might be able to add that with one of those aftermarket sticker magnets if you really need it. Otherwise Supcase has specific MagSafe models. So to sum up, if you really need protection for your S25 Ultra based on your job, extreme sports or video recording, the UB Pro case should be at the top of your list, especially if you wanted a clear case like this AND you can make use of that nifty belt clip that’s included.
