Today we’re taking a look at the Torras Shatterproof screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Torras sells tons of cases and screen protectors for various smartphones so I was interested to take a look at what they had for the S25 Ultra generation. The Shatterproof screen protector is 9H+ rated in terms of scratch resistance and features a super simple to use screen application process. Torras says that in testing this screen protector, they conducted over 20,000 scratch tests and drop tests of 12ft or more in order to get the best possible product they could for the S25 Ultra. In the past I have seen quite a few different installation methods for screen protectors ranging from eyeballing it all the way up to this, which is undoubtedly the best and easiest solution.You first want to clean the phone screen with the included cleaning and prep materials. Screen preparation is crucial for good applications. Next you’ll want to line up the top of the screen protector applicator to the top of the S25 Ultras. Thisapplicator essentially completely covers the S25 Ultra ensuring no dust gets in and the screen protector cannot sift awkwardly resulting in a bad installation. All you have to do is pull the tab and wait about 20 to 30 seconds for the screen protector to seat itself on the screen. If you have bubbles afterwards, you can use the scraping tool Torras included in the packaging. Doesn’t really get any better than this for tempered glass screen protector installations. The screen protector got installed exactly centered as it should be on the first try, no messing around with the mold or repositioning or wasting the first pristine attempt like I have in the past. I’m quite happy with the installation and I think the thickness of this screen protector is good. As for the fingerprint sensor, my native screen scans didn’t work but that is to be expected, you should always rescan your fingerprints after installing any kind of screen protector. After rescanning, my unlock accuracy was nearly 100% when I actually was on the sensor, one of the best unlock experiences yet with a screen protector. The screen protector was built with function in mind, the hard glass, fingerprint adhesive section, and the fact that you get two screen protectors in this kit is awesome. The adhesive they’re using isn’t crazy strong or anything, I was able to pull the screen protector up off in one piece when I was done testing. As for the glare resistance, it’s ok, it’s not going to stop glare on sunny days but you can rest a little easier knowing you have some good screen protection. Tempered glass screen protectors like this really complement strong and functional cases really well. This screen protector covers most of the screen but I think it should work with most cases, even some that use a 2 layer frame locking design. This really is the best way to really level up your S25 Ultra protection in my opinion and I would definitely recommend The Torras screen protectors for your S25 Ultra.
