Today we’re taking a look at the Thinborne 600D Aramid fiber case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Thanks to Thinborne for sending these over for us to take a look. The Thinborne cases are thin, like really thin. These cases are super strong too since they are composed of Aramid fiber, the 600D rating mean we are getting good strength at a very light weight, this case is only about point 78 ounces and you can see, there’s some really good strength here in my flex testing. The sides, top, and bottom and the corners are all relatively strong, they don’t bend easily. The casing is only about 1mm thick which is crazy. Thinborne is also including a tempered glass screen protector which is awesome. It’s decently thick here so I think this should hold up well to everyday life when it comes into contact with your iPhone. Installation of the case is really simple, just match up the camera cutout and pop it on there. The screen protector installation is free form and they are also including screen protector prep materials. We really seem to be well covered here by the casing and the screen protector, we also have some good camera protection. The camera protection strategy employs the classic cutout region with a built up bezel. When you drop your phone and it lands camera side down, this makes it so the lenses won’t smash into the ground. The cameras are usually half the reason you bought a new phone so it makes sense to use a case that will help protect them. This case does include a magsafe magnet, its decently strong for mag ring mounting and dashboard mounting. When it comes to charging the phone, any of the magsafe chargers will definitely work since this case is so thin, just make sure you have a magsafe charger, those vertical ones don’t always work because of the iPhone design. All of the buttons are cutout sections, all easy to use and feel natural. Overall, I would have to say this is a pretty solid iPhone 17 protection kit. This is easily one of the strongest cases I have looked at so far, we are getting included screen protector and screen prep materials too. Right now this case kit is coming in at $70 making it one of the more expensive options but you are getting one of the strongest and lightest cases and a solid tempered glass screen protector. If you want maximum protection but you dislike the bulk larger cases add to the weight and profile of your iPhone, the Thinborne case is probably what you want.
