Today we’re taking a look at the Tongate Magnetic 360 spin stand case for the Google Pixel 10. Thanks to Tongate for sending this case over for us to work with and for sponsoring this video. The Tongate Mag stand case is made from a strong Polycarbonate material as well as TPU which is a softer rubbery type of plastic that is ideal for Smartphone case protection especially on the outer perimeter or the case bumper. This case has a drop rating of 10ft according to Tongate which should be plenty for most people. The corners are reinforced with extra bumper material and the bumper in general is a good size. This case offers some good screen protection in the form of a raised bezel all along the perimeter of the screen, that basically means the TPU extends up past the height of the glass by about 1.2mm so that when your Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro lands on shard flat surface like concrete or a parking lot, the case will always make that initial impact with the ground and it will absorb and redistribute those impact forces which should increase the odds of your Pixel surviving when it goes tumbling out of your hands. The backing piece or part of the case is relatively strong and has plenty of material to protect your Pixel in many drop scenarios. This case also features a bezel designed for protecting the Piel camera bump out. The case creates a distance of about 2.5mm in between the camera lens and any flat surface. As for charging, this case supports wireless charging both vertically and horizontally and the USB-C port was easily able to accept my test cable connection. Subjectively speaking, I really like the rugged kind of look Tongate went for here with this case. The design of these grippy sections on the left and right looks good and it actually does help increase grip on the phone which is awesome because the better grip you have on your phone, the less likely you are to drop it. This case also has support for MagSafe accessories, the N52 magnet is actually part of the kickstand also which is nice. The built-in magnet is one of the loop style ones and it rotates which is very useful. You can definitely mount your Pixel on the car dashboard or mount your favorite pop socket though. This case doesn’t seem like it’s adding too much bulk to the Pixel 10 for the level of protection we’re getting and the features and style of this case definitely seem solid to me. I think this is a quality case choice in the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro case market. Right now this case is coming in at $40 and if you are interested in picking one up for your Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro, I’ll leave an affiliate link below.Until next time, stay charged up.
