Today we’re taking a look at the Supcase UB Pro case for the Samsung Z Flip 6. Thanks toSupcase for sending the case over for this review. In terms of protection, the UB Pro case for the Z Flip 6 features a front side screen protector to protect the outer screen and we do have the bezel towards the top to effectively recess the camera lenses below the bezel height for some camera protection. Both the top and bottom case panels were relatively snug by the way, this is what I like to see on a flip like this, we definitely don’t want the top or bottom panels flying off the phone when it gets dropped. The button panel is a little bit beefier since it obviously doesn’t have the outer screen. The material in this section is made from polycarbonate and TPU so the feel is what you would probably expect with good strength. I like that the bottom panel does have these ridges, it will help with grip. The sides of the case seem decently thick and strong as well. I like that the case has reinforced corners with extra material too. We of course have the hinge piece that will help provide protection during a fall or tumble situation which is good. Both the top and bottom panels create a small bezel on both screen sides of the phone which is good to see. You always want to have at least a millimeter or two of case bezel in order to take the brunt of the impact forces when you drop your phone. The case should take the hit, not the glass built into your phone. The bezel creates 1-2mm worth of distance between the phone glass and any flat source which is going to help flat surface type drop scenarios. The case does have a kickstand built in which is nice for watching videos or making video calls. Supcase does say that the case should allow for wireless qi charging with most qi chargers. There is no USB-C protection flap on this case just an fyi. This case comes with a belt holster clip which is kind of nice, I think you could use this while going for a walk or run or just to keep the phone handy. I think this is a nice value add feature. I think the Supcase UB pro is a solid choice for protecting your Z flip 6 so, if you like the functions, you can pick it up in black, Guldan or green, Ruddy or red, TiGray or just gray, or the tilt which is the blue.
