Today we’re taking a look at the i-Blason Armoxbox in metallic Blue for the Samsung Z fold 6 case. Thanks to i-Blason for sending this over for the review. The Armorbox for the Z Fold 6 is a solid protective type of case for the Z Fold 6. We still have a sturdy main glass protector here on the outside, this a tempered glass panel with a decent thickness so I think this will hold up well against the normal stuff that comes in contact with your phone. As always with all screen protectors, make sure to increase the fingerprint sensitivity for maximum unlock accuracy. There’s not too much flex here in this front frame, which is good, it snaps right into place on to the front side of the phone and its snug which is ideal. Seems like it will be able to hang on to the phone when you inevitably drop your Z Fold which is what matters. There are raised bezels built into the frame which means the actual phone glass won’t touch a flat surface when the phone is dropped for example. The bezels extend about 2mm past the screen which lifts the phone up off of flat surfaces when you drop it on a kitchen floor or on the hard cold concrete in your basement. As for the back side of this case, we have a very strong rear case panel for this side of the phone, very little flex with reinforced corners too. I like that the TPU sides do have these grippy sections, this will help a lot with grip. The backside of this case is a bit smooth. We have a larger kickstand built in which is nice for watching videos and video conferencing. This case also does have external support for storing the S-pen which is nice, you can leave it in the middle section and grab it quickly when you need it. This section also acts as a very strong barrier for protecting the Z Fold 6’s hinge which is nice. The case also provides a decent amount of protection for the cameras, they’re recessed quite a bit here and the camera cut out region is already much smaller on the Z Fold than the S24 Ultra for example. From handling this case for a bit, it seems like it should provide some solid protection for your Z Fold 6. The case isn’t heavy by any means, but it feels really well constructed which I like. I would definitely recommend this if protection is the factor you are most interested in for your Z Fold. Until next time, stay charged up.
